Royals Finish 14-13 After Win Over Thiel
The Eastern Mennonite men's volleyball team wrapped up their 2013 season Saturday, playing two matches at the CVC East Division Weekend in Langhorne, PA. The Royals opened the day with a 3-1 loss to No. 8 Juniata, before regrouping for a 3-1 win over Thiel College.

Royals Win Game One But Lose At Cairn In Five
The EMU volleyball men had a disappointing start to their final CVC East Weekend, dropping a 3-2 match to host Cairn. The loss eliminates the Royals from contention for a bid to the CVC Conference Tournament, which pits the top three teams from each division in a six-team bracket.

Royals Push Ranked Stevenson To The Limit
The Royals had No. 9 Stevenson on the ropes Wednesday night in Harrisonburg, but the EMU men couldn't finish them off and suffered a disappointing 3-2 loss. The decision leaves Eastern Mennonite in last place in CVC East play, giving them a tall task as they try to earn their first CVC Tournament bid.

The EMU volleyball men earned a split Saturday on day two of the Stevenson Tournament, falling to nationally-ranked New Paltz State of NY before battling over Penn-State Altoona.

Ten days ago, the EMU volleyball men pushed No. 9 Stevenson to the limit before falling 3-2 on the road. In Friday night?s rematch, the Mustangs made quick work of Eastern Mennonite, handing the Royals a 3-0 loss.

In need of a big win, the Royals nearly got it on the road Tuesday night, forcing No. 10 Stevenson to five games before falling 3-2. EMU won games three and four to extend the contest before the Mustangs snuck away with the win.

The Royals had a disappointing end to their hosting of the CVC East Division Weekend, dropping a pair of matches on Saturday. The men are now 1-2 in the jumbled CVC East, tied with Cairn. Juniata and Thiel are each 2-1, while Stevenson sits in the middle at 1-1.

Middles Lead The Way To 3-2 CVC Win Over Cairn
It took extra points, but the Royals completed a big comeback Friday night, winning the final three games to take a 3-2 victory from Cairn in men?s volleyball action. Eastern Mennonite improves to 1-0 in conference play, and will continue with two more matches on Saturday as part of hosting the CVC East Division Weekend.
