GREENVILLE, Pa. (May 26) -- Thiel College Athletics announced a new partnership with Bloomerang, naming the donor management platform as the new official hub for all Blue-Gold Club donations and supporter engagement efforts.
The partnership marks a major step forward in modernizing the giving experience for Tomcat supporters while enhancing the department's ability to connect with alumni, fans, parents and donors who contribute to the continued growth of Thiel Athletics.
ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (May 12) -- Thiel College senior athletes Kylie Heid (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) and Kaleb Proudfoot (Butler, Pa./Butler) were honored Tuesday evening at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Scholar-Athlete of the Year Banquet from The Fez Banquet Hall in Aliquippa.

The planned facility is estimated at $10 million and will expand on-campus recreation and wellness offerings for students, including additional locker room space, a multipurpose basketball court, a walking and running track, fitness areas and collaboration and meeting spaces. Fundraising is ongoing with the goal for the project to be fully funded by donors.
Construction is slated to begin this summer and be complete by 2027. The new facility is expected to provide expanded space for fitness, training and student engagement, supporting both academic and co-curricular experiences.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 20) -- Thiel College Men's Volleyball standout Kaleb Proudfoot (Butler, Pa./Butler) earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Honorable Mention honors Monday afternoon, becoming the first player in program history to receive the distinction.
KENOSHA, Wis. (April 16) -- The Thiel College Men's Volleyball's historical 2026 season came to an end in the NCAA Tournament Play-In Round to No. 15 Dominican University (Ill.) in straight sets by scores of 26-24, 25-18 and 25-17 Thursday from Carthage College's Tarble Arena.
The Tomcats (23-9) end the season with a program-record 23 wins as they claimed back-to-back Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) championships and became the first team in school history to make consecutive NCAA Tournaments. Thiel achieved its first national ranking since 2014 and climbed as high as No. 17 in the AVCA poll.
TRAFFORD, Pa. (April 14) -- Thiel College Men's Volleyball middle Kaleb Proudfoot (Butler, Pa./Butler) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Year Tuesday evening, as announced during the All-PAC Selection Show on the PAC Sports Network.
Proudfoot, along with Ezra Oesterling (Shelocta, Pa./West Shamokin), earned All-PAC First Team honors. Bryce Lizanich (Coraopolis, Pa./Montour) and Will Zimmerman (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) garnered Second-Team laurels, while George Schwalm IV (Fort Collins, Colo./Poudre) was named an Honorable Mention.
