Juniata and Southern Virginia Up, Rutgers-Newark Holds in Poll

Juniata College and Southern Virginia University both moved up multiple spots on this week's NVA/AVCA Division III Men's Volleyball poll while Rutgers University-Newark held their spot.

Southern Virginia made the biggest jump of any team on the poll, moving up four spots to #11 on this week's poll. The Knights picked up 80 total points and are 9-1 on the season and have won five in a row. They are set to face Marymount in a doubleheader this Saturday.

Juniata moved up three spots, picking up 166 points, to #8 in the rankings. The Eagles went 3-1 last week with wins over Elmira and a split doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark. They are currently 7-1 on the year and will face Elizabethtown on Saturday.

Rutgers-Newark remained at #5 in the poll, with 198 points. The Scarlet Raiders returned to action for the first time in two weeks with a split doubleheader against Juniata. They are 2-1 on the season and will face Immaculata this weekend.

Springfield and SUNY New Paltz held the top two spots with Messiah being the only new addition to the poll this week at #15.
