The 2022 Continental Volleyball Conference Tournament field is set following completion of the last conference match on Tuesday evening. Rutgers University-Newark enters the six-team bracket as the top seed following an 8-0 run through the league slate.
Rutgers-Newark (20-3 overall, 8-0 CVC), ranked fifth in the country in the latest NVA/AVCA Division III Coaches Poll, will serve as host for the conference semifinals and finals next weekend. The Scarlet Raiders earn a bye through the quarterfinal round along with eighth-ranked and two-time defending CVC champion Southern Virginia University (16-3, 7-1) as the second seed.
Tournament action begins on Tuesday, April 5 with quarterfinal matches at the #3 and #4 seeds. The semifinals are set for Friday, April 8, with the championship match to determine the CVC's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, April 9. Start times and ticketing information for all matches will be confirmed this week and communicated publicly.

Juniata College (23-5, 8-2) and Marymount University (21-7, 5-3) will host the quarterfinals on Tuesday as the third and fourth seeds in the bracket, respectively. The Eagles, ranked 12th in the NVA/AVCA poll, welcome sixth-seeded Kean University (16-10, 3-5) to Huntingdon, Pa. The Saints, rated 13th in the national survey, will see fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon College (16-9, 4-4) make the trip to Arlington, Va.
The eventual winner of the CVC Tournament will earn the league's automatic bid into the 16-team NCAA Tournament field. The selections will be announced on Monday, April 11, on NCAA.com.
