All four teams from the Continental Volleyball Conference that have been ranked for the majority of the 2022 season remain in the latest NVA/AVCA Men's Division III Coaches Poll however two fell this week while two others held their positions.
Southern Virginia University and Rutgers University-Newark both stayed at their previous ranking. Southern Virginia remains #7 on the poll with 194 points. The Knights are 12-2 on the season and put their three-match winning streak on the line this week with conference matches against Eastern Mennonite and Elizabethtown.
Rutgers-Newark stayed at #8, picking up 187 points, and are 14-2 on the year. They have won three straight matches, although they have had a week off. They return this week with contests against Misericordia, Marymount, Randolph-Macon, and Belmont Abbey.
Meanwhile, Marymount University and Juniata College both dropped this week. Marymount comes in at #12, down three spots from last week. The Saints received 93 points and are 18-4 on the season. They will face a pair of conference teams this weekend in #8 Rutgers-Newark and Kean as well as Vassar this weekend.
Likewise, Juniata slipped three spots to #15 in the rankings with 41 total points. The Eagles are 19-5 overall and will take on Lancaster bible, Immaculata, and Marymount this weekend.
The top three spots on this week's poll had changes with Springfield reclaiming the top spot followed by Dominican and Carthage.
