There were few changes on this week's NVA/AVCA Men's Division III Coaches Poll with just one new addition to the top 15 and the top three spots holding. Rutgers University-Newark remained at #5 on the poll but totaled 238 points this week, 13 more than last week and just eight behind #4 ranked Stevens. Rutgers-Newark is currently 20-3 on the season and is the top seed in the upcoming CVC Tournament.
Southern Virginia University crept up one spot to #7 this week, totaling 179 points. The Knights are 17-3 overall and receive a first-round bye in this week's conference tournament as the #2 seed.
Also moving up one position is Juniata College to #11. The Eagles received 109 points and are 25-5 on the season. They will be the #3 seed in the CVC tournament and face Kean University on Tuesday night in the opening round.
Marymount University remained in the poll at #14, down one spot from last week. The Saints are 22-7 overall and received 56 points this week. The Saints are the #4 seed in the conference tournament and face Randolph-Macon College in the opening round tonight.
Springfield remained the top-ranked team, followed by Dominican and Carthage.
