For the second time this season, Christian Sheaffer wins the CVC Player of the Week award. The junior helped Southern Virginia University win their only match of the week, a sweep of Stevenson University; extending its winning streak to nine matches to start the 2024 season.

Sheaffer put down 20 kills in the win, hitting .500 on the match. He added three blocks, totaling 22.5 points in the match. Sheaffer also finished with a .917 reception percentage and chipped in with five digs. He averaged 6.67 kills and 7.5 points per set.
