Seeger's Record Leads to Weekly Award

A record-breaking performance helped lead to a CVC Player of the Week award for Elizabethtown College setter Nate Seeger. The senior setter became the program's all-time leader in assists and now sits with 1,186 assists. He recorded the record against Hood on February 13 and also added a career-high four aces in that match while helping the Blue Jays to a sweep. He finished with 30 assists in the match, running an offense that finished with a .582 team-hitting percentage.

Seeger followed with 52 assists in a 3-1 win over Kean in his team's CVC season opener. His 52 assists tie the CVC season-high and are the most in a four-set match this year. It is also just the second time a Blue Jay has topped 50 assists in a match, a mark he previously reached in 2022.

Seeger finished the week with 82 total assists, averaging 11.71 per set and helping his team improve its record to 8-3 on the season. Seeger also added four aces and 10 digs while his team hit .330 on the week. Seeger currently ranks second in the league with 9.84 assists per set.
