Dante Palombo is the CVC Player of the Week for January 19, 2026 after a nearly unstoppable performance in two Juniata College wins last week. The sophomore middle totaled 25 points in the two matches, as his Eagles took down Trine and St. Vincent. 

Palombo finished with 19 kills and 8 blocks in the two matches, hitting .733 with just two attack errors on the week. He put up 8 kills and 6 blocks in the win over Trine and followed with 11 kills on just 12 attempts in the win over St. Vincent. On the week he averaged 3.17 kills and 1.33 blocks per set.
