Chris Mitchell's historic performance last week earns him the CVC Player of the Week award for March 2, 2026. The senior outside hitter set a Kean University program record by hitting .783 in a three-game sweep of Ramapo.
Mitchell finished the match with 18 kills on just 23 attempts, recording no errors. The record had stood for six years, being set by Stephen Reynolds on February 29, 2020. Mitchell totaled 19.5 points in the match, adding four digs and one block.
This is his second CVC Player of the Week award this season and he currently leads the conference in both kills and kills per set.
