CVC Trio Remain Strong in Latest Poll

Three teams from the CVC remain strong in this week's AVCA Division III Men's Volleyball Poll. For the third consecutive week Juniata College, Southern Virginia University, and Rutgers University-Newark are ranked in the poll.

After reaching its peak so far this season, tying for #1 in the poll, Juniata slipped three spots to #4. The Eagles are now 17-2 on the season and totaled 517 points this week, including still receiving two first-place votes. They are back in action this weekend in a tri-match against Mount Union and Stevenson.

Southern Virginia comes in at #10 on the poll, one spot down from last week, with 354 points. Despite topping Juniata, the Knights suffered a set back the next day when they lost to Randolph-Macon. Southern Virginia is now 19-3 on the season and face Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday.

Rutgers-Newark moved up one spot to #14 this week with 218 points. The Scarlet Raiders are 13-4 on the season and will be on the road against Wilkes this Saturday.
