The 2026 CVC Tournament field is set and will begin on Tuesday, kicking off its three-day, six-team field to determine this year's champion. The quarterfinal round matches will be hosted by the higher seed before moving to a neutral site (Washington and Lee University) for the semifinal round and championship match.
Southern Virginia completed its third consecutive undefeated conference season, setting a new CVC record by winning 29 consecutive matches in conference play. The Knights are the two-time defending CVC Champion and will be looking to become the first program in conference history to win three straight titles.
Juniata College will be making its 13th tournament appearance and are tied for the most championships in conference history with four. Their last title came in 2023 and they come into this year's tournament after going 6-1 in conference play.
This year's #3 seed is Rutgers University-Newark. The Scarlet Raiders are making their 10th tournament trip and looking for their first title since 2022. They were the last team to defeat Southern Virginia in the conference tournament, winning 3-2 in the 2023 semifinals.
Marymount University has made the second most tournament trips in conference history, with this year being their 11th appearance. The Saints have won at least one match in four consecutive tournaments.
The #5 seed, Kean University, will be appearing in the postseason for the fifth time in program history. Their only previous championship came in 2018.
