Gehrig Tolman highlights the 2026 CVC All-Conference team, taking both the Player of the Year and Setter of the Year awards. Tolman becomes just the second player in conference history to win both awards in the same season, joining former Kean University setter Ian Capp who accomplished the feat in 2019.
Tolman was the driving force for Southern Virginia University this season, guiding them to a third consecutive undefeated conference season. He totaled 199 assists in his seven conference matches, averaging 8.65 assists per set. With Tolman running the offense, the Knights hit a conference best .308 in CVC play; nearly 40 points higher than the next closest team. Tolman also recorded 38 digs in conference play, averaging 1.65 per set and added 14 total blocks.
The 2026 CVC Libero of the Year is Kean University's Tyler Quinn. The junior led the league with 72 digs during conference play, averaging 2.77 per set. He is the first Cougar to win the award in program history while his 335 digs this season put him in the top five for the conference's single season list.
This year's CVC Rookie of the Year award goes to Brady Wiggers, from Marymount University. The freshman totaled 97 kills, 30 digs, 16 blocks, and 11 aces during conference play. He hit .295 against conference opponents, averaging 3.59 kills per set; which ranked him 2nd in the league. Wiggers is the second Saint to win the award in program history, following TJ Wiechecki in 2015.
Juniata College's Glenn DeHaven was voted as the CVC Coach of the Year. He guided the Eagles to a 6-1 conference record, achieving a national ranking as #1 during the season. Juniata qualified for the CVC Tournament for a 13th time in program history and 10th consecutive season. This marks the second time he has won the award, also winning in 2017.
